I was born in Long Beach, California, and spent my formative years in the beautiful state of Colorado. I returned to California for college, and currently call the Golden State home with my beautiful wife and three amazing children.

I began my photography career over a decade ago, and honed my aesthetic in the process of putting in my "10,000 hours”. I pay special attention to horizontal and vertical lines with my work, and I seek out the interesting and thoughtful details at each shoot. I pride myself on the photographic aesthetic I have come to be known for. My work can be seen in notable print and web publications, ranging from Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Luxe, Traditional Home, and various books, catalogs, and advertisements, but most often– your Instagram feed. Prior to photography, I was working in ministry and had initially thought a career in children's ministry would be my path.
